Typically the answer is no. If you’re a well-established player on FanDuel we generally require that you keep the same username. This isn’t because we’re trying to stifle your creativity, but rather, it’s in the spirit of fair play.
Changing usernames could be used to hide identities or trick other users into unwanted head-to-head matchups. For that reason, we’ve ruled that users cannot make edits.
However, possible exceptions include:
- You’re a brand new player on FanDuel. If you’ve just created an account on FanDuel in the past few weeks, you may be eligible to change your username.
- You have special circumstances that require a change.
All username changes are evaluated on a case-by-case basis. So, if you think you have a valid reason to change your username, you should submit a support ticket for approval and include a brief explanation of why you need to change your username.
