Yes. If you have net earnings of $600 or more on FanDuel over the course of the year, you may have to pay taxes on your winnings. All users who have won more than $600 over the previous calendar year can expect to receive a 1099 Tax Form from us in the mail, which we are required to file with the IRS. Our Finance Team sends out all tax forms in time to file your taxes. If for any reason you haven’t received your tax form, please let us know by contacting our Support team here.
How to estimate FanDuel winnings yourself:
Not sure how much you’ve won? Start in the FanDuel Lobby and select the ‘History’ tab. There you can download your history as a CSV file — a spreadsheet that shows your winnings and entry fees for each contest. Simply subtract your total entry fees from your total winnings for the year.
TIP: Remember this is just an estimate. Be sure to exclude any entry fees for contests that were canceled or voided.
